Buildings with Scaffolding
Ever arrived at something you've always wanted to see, only to find it covered in scaffolding? Yeah, me too, during my solo travel through Europe and Asia I found plenty. I decided to turn a negative into a positive by collecting as many as I can. Kinda like Pokemon Go but not as nerdy.

Parthenon - Athens, Greece
The inspiration for this gallery

Goshavank Monastery - Gosh, Armenia

Tomb of Xerxes - near Shiraz, Iran

Temple of Athena Polias - Rhodes, Greece

Ali Qapu Palace - Isfahan, Iran

Jameh Mosque - Isfahan, Iran
If you look carefully, you can actually see three sets of scaffolding

Masjid-i Imam mosque - Isfahan, Iran

Arg-e-Alishah - Tabriz, Iran

Sumela Monastery, Turkey
See the scaffolding? Nope, neither did I. Night bus from Cappadocia, local bus to the nearest town, taxi to Sumela, only to find it closed for renovation. This was the closest I could get, it makes the gallery based purely on the likelihood of interior scaffolding.

Golestan Palace - Tehran, Iran

Tatev Monastery, Armenia

Etchmiadzin Cathedral, Armenia
